Yesterday I got the chance to worship with my friends. I really enjoyed being able to sit back and be a part of the worship at church. I must say, I’m starting to hit that point where I’m itching to get back into doing what I love and am called to do. It was great listening to Joe and the band yesterday. I continue to love our church and the people there. I didn’t like as much the fact that my family was sick and didn’t go with me, even though it meant that I got to church on time.

As far as the music goes, all the songs are written and I think I’ve settled on a CD list. That means it’s time to get the recording going and all the other planning as well. Be praying for me because I’m trying to not be discouraged by the fact that money is scarce and almost non-existent. God is still in control and I still feel that I am supposed to be doing this. I’m excited about the possibilities and how things are looking. I have some connections to make in the future about people being a part of this. I hope they say yes. If they do, this thing is gonna be GREAT!!! Happy Monday everyone!

Show Tonight and Other Fun Stuff

Posted by worship180 under Uncategorized

Has it really been weeks since I wrote a blog? It seems that way. MAN! I’m horrible at this lately. It’s not like I don’t have stuff to share. So I’ll keep this intro paragraph short (some things you never forget from English class) and get right to the news.

First things first, you should come to the benefit concert that I’m playing for tonight. Some friends of mine are trying to raise funds for their various Campus Crusade summer projects to San Diego and other places. I’m expecting this to be a fun night. Some friends of mine are performing as well. You can click here for more details. It’s at First Free Church in Manchester, MO and it starts at 7pm. It’s only 3 bucks for a couple hours of good music. The headliner is a guy named Clayton Jones. Everything I’ve heard from him seems to be legit so come to hear that, too.

For those of you that haven’t heard yet, I am currently working on my CD project. I originally was going to just make an EP to get something out. But after meeting with my friend who’s doing all this work for me, we decided to go ahead and do a full project. I’m super excited. The concept of the project is coming together nicely. There are even a few brand new songs on this one as well. I haven’t quite been able to believe that this is really happening, but it is. Even better, I’m working on the details of a tour with my good friend. Once we decide on some things and work out the details I’ll tell you who it is. I’ll be sure to keep you posted as things happen and as we get closer to completing this project.

In other news, we are still jobless in the Walls home. No, it’s not fun. Yes, it’s frustrating and scary. I think that should answer most questions about this situation. We have applied in quite a few places. We’re playing the ‘will anyone actually call us back for an interview’ game now. Looking for jobs is not really a fun thing to do. However, we are constantly convinced that God is in control. Pray for us.

I believe that’s all for right now. OH!! Eva is still pregnant and progressing quite well. Q (as I plan to call him) is growing like he should and we are getting excited for our boy to get here. I’ll keep you posted on life as it happens. I’m also working on a new series of ideas for where this blog could be heading. Be blessed friends!!!
